BIG (Bayside Initiative Group) – a peer-operated mental health service providing outreach on the islands through the Bay Islands Wellbeing Group, a lifestyle and social support group helping people to learn new coping strategies and reconnect to their communities. Ph: 3390 1116 or 0499 747 000

YFS – delivers a range of services to those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable or want to improve their circumstance.  YFS champions rights and responsibilities of clients taking up social, cultural and economic opportunities. Ph: 3826 1500

Group 61 – a voluntary organisation devoted to mental health that enables fullness of life through friendship with people affected by mental health issues. Ph: 0421 129 253

Crime Stoppers – an anonymous reporting of Crime Information using either 1800 333 000 or their website Crime Stoppers. 

Kookaburra Kids Foundation – supports kids aged 8-18 years living in families affected by mental illness. AKKF is a not-for-profit organisation that provides free recreational & mental health educational camps and other activities, giving kids a break in a fun, positive and safe environment. Kids have the opportunity to meet other kids from similar families and develop new friendships. All Kookaburra Kids programs are FREE for eligible children to attend.
