BICSI also has a maritime division run by volunteers. Our vessel the Lady Caroline a 35 foot Bay Cruiser is a delight for our community. Lady Caroline weekly takes 7 community members and 3 trained crew on various trips around our amazing waterways including trips to Tipplers, Horizon Shores and Harrigans Irish Pub, Calypso Bay.
Lady Caroline was built by a training group of disabled people at the Gold Coast training centre and took many years to build. She was graciously donated to BICSI to provide a means for Islanders to see and enjoy our beautiful waterways that surround us. It is for Islanders only.
Our crew are trained specifically to manage our lady of the waterways, Lady Caroline and the specific cruises we map out.
Cruising on Lady Caroline is for residents of Russell, Macleay, Lamb and Karragarra.
