Activities can be posted by any member on The Tinny Tourist Group Facebook page once they are a paid-up member to inform the group as to what is coming up or invitations for specific activities.
Meet our Macleay Island volunteers who man our office and Op Shop. Macleay provides services to the islanders of a Centrelink booth, office services, emergency relief and consult rooms where various consultants meet the islands needs.

The Bay Island Community Services boat ‘Nereides’ has undergone a revamp at the Pelican Slipway.
Our thanks go to Graham Webb and Robert Walker for volunteering their time and effort to clean down the hull and repaint the ‘Nereides’. A beautiful job. Well done and thank you.
Congratulations to our volunteers on Macleay Island for their immense effort to gather sufficient funding from our Christmas Raffle and Sausage Sizzle to fund the new CCTV cameras going on the BICSI Opp Shop on South Sea Terrace, Macleay Island.
Distribution of the Christmas Hampers to the Safe Harbour Church on Russell Island, to the Macleay Christian Community Church on Macleay Island and our offices on both islands for community members needing that helping hand at this time of the year.
We are seeing more progress now on the Russell Island Men’s Shed with the expectation that it will be completed by February 2018 ready for a long awaited activity for Russell Island men.
BICSI volunteers on Macleay had a creative time preparing for the Lions Club Christmas Parade.
The parade was a huge success and congratulations to our volunteers for their wonderful float.

If you live on Macleay Island you may have seen our wonderful volunteers selling you a Sausage Sizzle and raffle tickets for our fundraising endeavours to purchase CCTV cameras for Macleay Opp Shop.
If you are chasing tickets for the raffle then you will find them at the Macleay Opp Shop or the office at the Recreation Hall.
On Russell Island they are available at the Jackson Road community centre (BICSI).
